Scott White
CEO and Co-Founder
A successful entrepreneur and writer, Scott founded two of the most successful PR and marketing communications agencies in the southwest after careers in the newspaper, magazine and book publishing fields. In addition, he was director of PR and marketing during the launch of I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt!’s highly successful franchise effort in the 1980s. He has helped start-up companies develop programs to support growth strategies and he has helped mature multinationals develop strategies to reach new markets or expand share of existing markets. A member of several non-profit boards, Scott is past president of the Texas Public Relations Association, the Connemara Conservancy Land Trust and the Allen Public Library Endowment Fund.

Chief Growth Officer
As Chief Growth Officer at Thunderly, Jack connects franchise pros with new candidates, clients, and partners. He chairs the IFA Marketing & Innovation Committee and hosts key events and podcasts. A former Chicago radio and PR pro, Jack now leads Social Geek, the franchise industry’s top podcast—closing in on two million downloads.

As Chief Strategy Officer, Carlos provides strategic and creative leadership across a diverse portfolio of agency clients. In this role, he partners closely with agency leadership to shape brand positioning, guide integrated campaign development, and support new business and growth initiatives. His work spans franchise systems and emerging brands alike, helping organizations align their messaging, sharpen their market presence, and build scalable marketing frameworks that drive both brand and demand.

Born and raised in Georgia, Emma is a true Southern native with a competitive edge. As a former college softball player, she knows the value of teamwork, strategy, and showing up ready to win every day. She graduated from the University of West Georgia, where she studied Public Relations and Marketing Management. When she’s not working, you can usually find Emma spending time with her dog, traveling to new destinations, or hitting the golf course. A Kentucky native, Sophie earned her degree in Integrated Strategic Communications from the University of Kentucky. She brings an energetic, relationship-driven approach to PR to the Thunderly team and loves the connections this industry creates. A born and raised Texas native, Urwah graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications with a background in marketing, branding, and creative strategy. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Landri has called Fayetteville, Arkansas home for the past six years. She holds a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Arkansas, where she grew her people-centered research background and developed her passion for connecting with others. Vice President of Project Management
Our Yankee-in-Residence, Melissa brought her PR skills from New York and New Jersey to Texas. As wife, mom, and PR expert, she now leads Thunderly’s project management division. In her free time, Melissa enjoys walks while listening to podcasts or diving into a good book.

From Northern Michigan, Hannah was inspired by the Great Lakes. She studied neuroscience at Michigan State before shifting to business at Wake Forest. Now a Project Management Coordinator at Thunderly with research and marketing experience, she enjoys lifting and music.

Creative Director
Born and raised in Maryland, Dan started making movies at six. With a background in film and graphic design, he freelanced on music videos, weddings, and social content. Since joining Thunderly, he’s interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs and developed a passion for franchising, traveling the country creating content for franchisors across every industry.
