The Faces Behind Thunderly: Anushka Pradhan

Meet Anushka Pradhan

Grace Gorman, Social Media Account Coordinator at Thunderly.

Thunderly’s team is expanding! We are excited to welcome Anushka Pradhan as our new Brand Management Account Coordinator. Anushka joins us from The University of Texas at Austin where she graduated from in May.

At Thunderly, we believe that great brands are built by great people, and that includes the next generation of creative thinkers and strategic storytellers. This position is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering emerging talent and giving hands-on opportunities to those looking to grow in the world of brand marketing and communications.

We asked Anushka a few questions to get to know her better, and learn about why she is excited to work at Thunderly:

Why did you choose to get into marketing?

  • I chose to get into marketing because I’ve always been interested in what goes on behind the scenes to make a campaign or product successful. There are so many moving parts, from strategy and creativity to understanding consumer behavior, and the constantly evolving landscape keeps things exciting.

What excited you about working at Thunderly?

  • What excites me most about Thunderly is the opportunity to be part of an agency that offers such a wide range of services to support clients at every stage of their journey. I’m especially excited to learn more about brand management and strategy in the world of franchising, and to contribute to an amazing team!

If you had an extra hour each day, how would you spend it (not work related)?

  • If I had an extra hour in the day, I’d love to spend it watching more movies. I’ve never been a huge movie person, but there are so many great films out there, and my watchlist just keeps growing. That extra time would be perfect for finally getting to experience some of the classics and hidden gems I’ve been meaning to see.

What is one talent you wished you had?

  • I wish I knew how to play the piano! I’ve always wanted to learn but never got around to.

What are a few fun facts about you?

  • I was born in Nepal, Asia.
  • I understand three languages and am currently working on a fourth.
  • I love painting and sketching landscapes.
  • I once had a foster cat named Furlock Holmes.
  • I put way too much creamer in my coffee every morning.

We are so excited to have Anushka apart of the Thunderly team, and can’t wait to see all she will accomplish.

How Thunderly Is Redefining What a Franchise Marketing Agency Can Be Scott White, CEO and Co-Founder Turns out there are some exceptions to the old saying that “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” We changed. And things did not stay the same. A year ago this month, we took a bold step that signaled not just a new chapter for our agency and our clients, but a new vision for the future of franchise marketing. We rebranded BizComPR and Brand J, two of the most well-known and successful franchise marketing agencies in the country, under a single, unifying name: Thunderly Marketing. It was a big move and one taken with serious consideration to the potential danger of each agency walking away

What High Growth Brands Get Right About Franchise Development Marketing

Scott White, CEO and Co-Founder  The Data Reveals a Counterintuitive Truth  After analyzing hundreds of franchise brands over the past 30+ years, a remarkable pattern emerges: franchisors experiencing explosive growth in qualified leads and franchise sales aren’t necessarily the ones spending the most money on advertising. They’re the ones operating with a unified marketing approach, where every channel and discipline is aligned and working toward the same growth goals.  Think of your marketing like a puzzle. When each team works on a single piece without seeing the full picture, progress is slow and disjointed. Success comes faster with one team aligned around one strategy and shared goal.  This is now especially true in the rapidly emerging era of AI generated, no-click search. The Siloed Marketing
